NEW CLASS OF SOFTWARE FOR HEALTH DATA MANAGEMENT OUTLINED AT BOSTON CONFERENCE

(BOSTON, MA)—FireLogic, Inc. will be discussing its innovative new software, called HealthEngage, at a conference highlighting emerging technologies in the healthcare industry.  More than three hundred executives will be on-hand to hear small companies discuss the future of American healthcare and the manner in which technology will play a part.  "Investment In Innovation: A Preview of Early Stage Medical Technology Companies'' will be held June 14-15 at the Hyatt Harborside Hotel.  FireLogic CEO Irena Slage will be presenting on Friday, June 15 at 11:00 AM.

FireLogic's HealthEngage software will revolutionize the manner in which  the 100 million Americans with chronic illnesses manage their healthcare. The company's first release, HealthEngage Asthma, allows asthma sufferers to collect, store and chart vital health information. It can be used on computers, handheld devices and web-enabled cellular phones. Using this software, asthma sufferers will be better able to manage their healthcare and activities by having the ability to enter health information at any time from any place.  Medical doctors will also be able to review patient information in a more useful manner. The firm has plans to release software for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Diabetes, Hypertension, and Weight Loss/Fitness Management in the near future.

The conference is being sponsored by Medtech Insight, a respected source of business information on new technologies and emerging companies in the medical industry.  Details on the conference can be found at www.medtechinsight.com/in3-02.html.

A free trial version of the Asthma HealthEngage software can be downloaded at www.HealthEngage.com.  FireLogic began in 1998 when company President Michael Slage was working at NASA on the Telemedicine Program which monitors astronaut health while in space.  NASA's concept was too expensive and bulky for practical use but by using new telecommunication and handheld technology, FireLogic has allowed patients on Earth to be helped.  The company is comprised of scientists, physicians, and other professionals dedicated to helping chronically ill patients better manage their healthcare.
